To download the topo you want you must click on the appropriate quad. All topos are in pdf format so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The USGS provides a very detailed index on the symbols used on topographic maps. If you would like to reference these symbols, they are available on the USGS Topographic Map Symbols page.

You may also download the topos online at the SC Dept of Natural Resources Data Clearinghouse.

Please also keep in mind that these files may take awhile to download as they are very graphic intensive.
